Pickup - Click and Collect
We are happy to announce our 'Click and Collect' option. This is a great way for our Auckland customers to avoid the shipping costs and get their order even faster.
We only allow pickup of orders between 9am-4pm, every Monday-Friday. So sadly if you order something on the weekend you will not be able to pick it up till the following week. You will be sent an email when the order is ready to be picked up. Here is the pickup guide to assist you on your click and collect order:
- Place an order for click and collect
- We will process your order as fast as we can. If the order is made on a weekday in the AM we will most likely be able to get your order ready to pickup the same day, if not the following day. Orders made on a weekday in the PM will most likely be ready the following day. If you make an order on the weekend please beware that we are not open weekends so your order will be ready to pickup the following week most likely on the Monday.
- When your order is ready to be picked up we will send you an email. Please make sure to check your emails regularly so you know when the pickup is ready. This email will contain a short series of instructions on how to pickup your order and our address/contact number.
- Our pickup address is 24 Hannigan Drive, Saint Johns, Auckland 1072. The pickup zone is located at the HBA sign (You won't miss it) where you can park up. Give us a call or message on 021 044 0269 and we will come out promptly and personally give you your order. Here is an image showing our pickup zone.
- Make sure you have your order confirmation email with you so we can double check it before giving you your order.
- Please give us a review on google once you have collected your order. We love to know your experience and feedback. We strive to give you a happy experience here at Based Music :)
Please note we are not an in-person retail store. We are an online retail store. This means we do not allow any walk-ins or shopping at our location. The pickup option gives you the chance to buy online and pickup your order from our warehouse. *We are a separate company from HBA. Though we do share the same space hence the sign in our pickup location. Sorry for the confusion this has caused.
Shipping and Delivery
1. Shipping Locations
We currently only ship within Aotearoa. We can ship rurally as well making our products available to anyone in Aotearoa. If you are unsure whether we can deliver to your address, please give us an inquiry through our 'Contact Us' page before placing the order. Our staff will get back to you as soon as possible.
2. Shipping Costs
Our flat rate shipping cost is $15 for any order. Though this may differ, we currently have free shipping on all effects pedals and are in the process of getting a cheaper shipping rate for small goods such as slides, capo, picks,etc. This is because we take extra care in our shipping as the products we sell are delicate, we do everything it takes to prevent any damage from happening in transit. We also ensure our products are packaged extremely well to avoid being damaged. We are looking into getting more affordable shipping with costs that will differ depending on the size or the weight of the product(s) in the future, this will be updated accordingly.
3. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders placed after time may be processed the following business day. We strive to ship all orders as quickly as possible, but please note the processing time may vary depending on external factors.
4. Delivery Time
Next working day for North Island. Allow up to 3 working days for South Island. Rural delivery may take longer.
5. Shipping Method
We use one company so there is currently no options of couriers/shipping methods. This may change in the future and will be updated accordingly.
6. Order Tracking
We will provide you a tracking number with your order.
7. Shipping Delays
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, we are not responsible for delays caused by shipping couriers and any other external factor while in transit. If your package is delayed, please let us know by using our 'Contact Us' page or sending a direct email to basedmusicco@gmail.com .
8. Order Modifications and Address Changes
Once your order has been processed or shipped, we are unable to modify the order or change the shipping address. Please ensure your shipping information is correct before completing your purchase.
